    This is a very attractive tie pin that was made in the U.S., by the craftsmen at James Avery Jewelry!
    Very nice quality, detail, and design.
    It measures 3/8 inch at the widest point.
    The knot is made of solid, 14K yellow gold, with a prong set, genuine ruby at the center!
    The pin back and the clasp are not gold. Likely stainless steel or some other durable metal.
    This pin is stamped on the back as AVERY, and 14K.
    I could not find anything comparable to this one, so possibly it was a custom made or special order piece.
