VINTAGE TEAM ALL STAR CASTING/SPINNING ROD
SIGNATURE SERIES: Signed by David Wharton
An ORIGINAL vintage rod that is in outstanding condition. All of the wraps and the unusual crafted texture at each guide and on the base of the rod are nearly perfect. The gold logos and signature have no damage at all. Double footed guides (7 plus the tip) are also great condition (please see note below regarding tip). The reel seat bears the All Star brand and the threaded adjustment functions just as it should. There is an original cork butt and grip that has been cleaned and kept in the original condition. The cork does not show any gouges or scrapes and the original butt cover is in place with the All Star logo.
PLEASE NOTE, THE ROD IS LABELED 6'10", HOWEVER IT MEASURES 6'5".
We can only assume at some point the tip was broken and in repairing it the
rod was shortened. Whoever repaired the rod was definitely an expert!
The tip is an exact match for all the other guides and wrap looks just the same.
