Vintage Heddon Bamboo Fly Rod, #17 Black Beauty 8.5'
3 Pieces plus an extra tip 2 inches shorter
Original tan cloth sac and metal rod tube (has a few dings)
Sections fit snug, ferrules and wraps perfect
Cork grip like new with black locking reel seat

The HDH means the same thing as "DT6F", double tapered floating line. An "E" would be a 5 level line or 140 grains, the grain weight for each is based off of weight for the first 30 feet of the fly line. Follow the rods recommendation and don't go cheap on line. I would look at a "TFO BVK" reel in the medium price range.
