Vintage-Inspired Onyx Drop Earrings in Sterling Silver w Marcasite Accents 12.7g

Description

These ornate earrings are inspired by jet jewelry of the Victorian era.
"SILVER 925" and "DK" (the maker's mark of a large Thai jewelry manufacturer) are stamped on the back of each earring.

Condition: these are new old stock; they've never been worn (except by my glamorous, roughly life-sized cardboard earring head).  However, I did note two small defects.  First, the bottom edge of one earring shows three white spots.  This could either be because the onyx is dyed agate (which is usually the case) and the spots are places where the dye is faded.  Or the onyx could actually be real onyx, which does sometimes have splotches or veins of white and gray.  In either case, the spots are on the bottom edge of the stone so it's pretty much unnoticeable.  Second, one of the stones was cut slightly too small for the silver frame so, if you look closely, you can see the protruding edge.  Both of these defects are shown in the last two photos.
