Here we have a Wright McGill Granger Waterseal FB 8-1/2' 3/2 Bamboo Fly Rod. Completely original, and utterly flawless, except the reel seat seems to have frozen sometime in the last 20 years in my closet. Not a difficult fix, but if you're just collecting rods I'd skip it. Includes original bag and cardboard tube. This is one of the last production run rods, and is one of three identical rods I purchased from a disgruntled employee who claimed to have swiped them from the factory around 1960 after they all received their walking papers. The other two got sold over the years, but this one I hung onto as I'd peeled the plastic off and fished it two or three times way back when. Incidentally a few pieces of it fell out of the rod bag when I took it out for photos.
Somebody mentioned the reel seat looks tarnished. It's not, that yellow you see is the yellow wraps reflecting off the silver - that's how new and shiny this rod is.
